Do I have to pay to download?
No. Every project designs and downloads free, signed in or not. Membership adds saves, the choice to leave the mark off, every beta, and the right to sell prints.
What happens to my designs if I stop paying?
They all stay, and you can open and change every one. Past 5 designs a project you can’t save a new one until you delete some, or become a Member again. The mark returns to new downloads, and betas you weren’t invited to close.
How do I cancel?
Sign in, open the account circle at the top right, press Manage subscription, and cancel there. You stay a Member until the end of the time you’ve paid for, and nothing more is charged. More on cancelling.
Can I get my money back?
Yes, in full, if you ask within 14 days of your first payment, of a yearly renewal, or of buying Founding Member. Write to support@oddlyhelpful.com, or ask Link, which handled your payment, from your receipt. The Refunds page has the details.
What does selling prints cover?
Physical prints of designs you make here, sold by you: at markets, at fairs, in your own shop or online. It doesn’t cover the files: those are yours to print, never to share or sell. Marketplaces set rules of their own (Etsy, for one, asks that items be the seller’s own design), so check theirs before you list. The licenses say exactly what each plan allows.
What is Founding Member?
Membership for good, for one payment of $75, sold to the first 100 people and then closed. It includes what Members get as new things arrive, except any feature that costs us money every time it runs. If a plan for sellers is split out later, founders keep the right to sell prints.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes, under Manage subscription. Stripe works out the difference for the time left.
Do the prices include tax?
No. Where tax applies, Link works it out from your address at checkout and shows it before you pay. As the seller of record, it also files the tax.
How do you take payment?
Through Link, part of Stripe, which is the seller of record for your purchase: it takes the payment, works out the tax and sends your receipts. Cards, and Apple Pay or Google Pay where your browser offers them. Link keeps your card details; we never see them. We keep only that you have a plan, and when it renews.
What if a payment fails?
Stripe tries again over the next couple of weeks and emails you to update your card. Your plan stays on meanwhile. If it can’t be paid, the plan ends, and nothing else changes.
Is there a price for schools or groups?
Not yet. Write to support@oddlyhelpful.com and say what you need.
