Cancelling
- Sign in, and open the account circle at the top right of any page.
- Press Manage subscription. Stripe’s billing page opens.
- Choose Cancel plan and confirm.
You stay a Member until the end of the time you’ve paid for, and nothing more is charged. Changed your mind before then? Renew it from the same page. Deleting your account cancels a membership at once.
Getting your money back
- Your first membership payment, monthly or yearly: all of it, if you ask within 14 days.
- A yearly renewal: all of it, if you ask within 14 days of the renewal. We email you before each one.
- Monthly renewals after the first aren’t refunded. Cancel and the next one doesn’t come.
- A refund ends the plan it paid for straight away. Your designs stay, as they do whenever a plan ends.
- Founding Member: all of it, if you ask within 14 days. After that it isn’t refundable. A refund ends the plan and frees the seat for someone else.
To ask, write to support@oddlyhelpful.com from the email on your receipt, or reply to the receipt. You can also ask Link, part of Stripe, which sold you the plan for us: its support is linked from your receipt. Link may also refund a payment to settle a dispute, up to 60 days after it. The money goes back the way you paid; banks take 5 to 10 days to show it. If you live in the EU or the UK, the law gives you 14 days to change your mind about a digital purchase, and this policy keeps to it.
When a payment fails
Stripe tries again over the next couple of weeks and emails you to update your card. Your plan stays on meanwhile. If it can’t be paid, the plan ends.
Disputes
Please write to us before going to your bank; we’d rather sort it out. A payment disputed with a bank ends the plan it paid for.
When a plan ends
- Every design you saved stays, and you can open and change each one.
- Past 5 designs a project, you can’t save a new one until you delete some.
- New downloads carry the oddlyhelpful mark again.
- Projects in beta close, unless you were invited to them.
- You can’t sell new prints. Prints you made while your plan was active may still be sold.
