A customizable 3D print by oddlyhelpful
A wider cup for your car's cupholder.
Sized by you.
For the mug or bottle that won't fit. It sits in the cupholder and rises above the console into a wider cup, and a can still drops through it to the bottom. Set how wide and deep the cup is, add a notch for a mug's handle, and download it to print.

The part
Reads
Cut 0.6 mm into the flat of the underside in letters 3 mm tall, as it reads with the part turned over, which is the view here. The line is centered, and goes onto a second line if it is too long for one. In the middle, the line goes above the mark and a second line below it; with no room there, the lines stack in the middle and the mark moves to a corner. In a corner, the mark keeps the middle, or moves across from the label if the label reaches it. The fit test goes without both.

Print details
Print the fit test first. It is the part below the console as a thin ring, the full depth of the cupholder, with its taper and a lip at the top. It should drop to the bottom under its own weight, its lip resting on the console, and not rattle.
If it stops partway down, the cupholder narrows toward the bottom. Mark the ring where it meets the rim, measure from the mark to its bottom, and measure the cupholder's width there: that is the Width at the bottom the part needs.
The flare under the extension rises at 45°, the holes rise to a point or a slope at their tops, and the ledge and the notch's floor face up, so nothing needs supports. The 0.3 mm of room each side is a starting value. If the part is tight, raise its fit under Precision controls; if it rattles, lower it.
