Stick it on once.
Lift it out, no re-taping.
For an alarm sensor on a door you can't drill, a remote, or anything with a battery to change. The sleeve goes on the frame or the wall with tape, once. What it holds slides in and clicks, or snaps in from the front, and lifts out again. Pick a sensor or type in a size, then download it to print.
Beta. No sleeve has been printed and tried on a door yet, and the Abode sizes come from Abode's specs. Measure yours, and print the fit test before the sleeve.

The sleeve
Reads
Cut 0.6 mm into the floor in letters 3 mm tall, as it reads from the front with the open end up, which is the view here. It shows whenever what the sleeve holds is out. The line is centered, and goes onto a second line if it is too long for one. In the middle, the line goes above the mark and a second line below it; with no room there, the mark moves to a corner. The fit test goes without both.
